Abstract:
The first four steps in the development of human consciousness are identified. Each of these is related to the author's hypothesis that conscious content is generated by a self-referential process involving a self-model. The main conclusions are that the initial step is based on self-touch and that later steps involve a shift in motivation from sensory satisfaction to success. | Attachment | Size |
